My main goal as a practitioner and therapist is to make you feel seen, heard and to aid in your healing process. Born and raised in Maine- I have been a therapist for 13 years. I was lucky enough to have my first massage experience in my late teens when I was going through a lot of body uncertainty and depression. It completely made me appreciate my vessel and be more present in it. Body work can morph and transform the day to day cocoon into an escape. An opening of wings. A stretching of the soul.

A butterfly is a lot like tension. The more you frantically chase the idea of peace and relaxation- it will elude you much like the illusive insect. But if you turn your attention to healing and nurturing your body’s needs- peace will land softly on your shoulder like a butterfly.

Massage aids in the body’s ability to heal itself by increasing health with touch. The history of this practice dates back to 3000 BCE in India. It was noted to be used as a sacred system of healing passed on generationally to heal injury, relieve pain and help cure illness.

In time, together we will find the things that work best for you and leave you with tools to get you more in touch with your body and it’s systems.
